Deepavali
Deepavali vastly celebrated base on each family’s tradition.
To me Deepavali is always exciting. Memories of playing fire crackers with my brothers, parents busy in kitchen & then me trying to make the best rice Kolam with vilakku arrangements is still fresh in mind.
1st Day of Deepavali 🌸
Our Morning prayers 🙏🏽, colourful attires of the family staged in a tray, all marked with sandalwood & prayer room decorated with beautiful flowers & clay villaku. Eyes watches the beauty of celebration in the most joyous way.
A trip to temple with style. Get to see many people that missed over the years.
Back home, for breakfast, always long for Amma’s coloured jelly + Thosai & Appa’s chicken + mutton curry 😇. The same menu would never taste better elsewhere 🌳.
